One thousand books? You've got this!
If you read just one book a night to your child, you'll have already read 1,095 books in three years! It doesn't matter if your child is a baby or a toddler - there's no better time to start than now.
Reading aloud sparks creativity and imagination and is a wonderful way to bond with your child. Every time you read a book together, you're giving them the gifts of language, vocabulary, and the necessary pre-reading skills for kindergarten.
Your friends at the Chattahoochee Valley Libraries are here to help your family on this exciting reading journey! Logging your reading is easy, just use one of the following options:

1. Download the Beanstack Tracker app, downloadable from the Apple Store or Google Play.
- After downloading, select "At my library, school, or bookstore" for how you will participate.
- Click the "Find a site" button at the bottom.
- Enter "Chattahoochee Valley Libraries" at the top and then click "search" or "enter".
- Click on "Chattahoochee Valley Libraries (GA)".
- From there you can enter your existing Beanstack account (yes, the same one you use for Summer and Winter Reading programs!) or click on the "Sign Up" link and follow the instructions on creating your account and logging your reading.
2. Log your reading on the Chattahoochee Valley Libraries Beanstack website. From there you can create your account or use your existing Summer and Winter Reading program accounts to log your reading.
3. Prefer to remain off-line? Then visit your favorite branch of the Chattahoochee Valley Libraries to get your special 1,000 Books logbook! Filled with fun stickers and games, it's a wonderful way to keep track of your child's reading (available while supplies last, please contact your branch to confirm availability).

Embark on an adventure with our 1000 Books Badge Book, specially designed to inspire young readers in our community! This sturdy, hardcover journal is packed with over 80 pages of interactive fun that will last throughout your child's early reading journey.

How It Works: As your family participates in the 1000 Books reading challenge, you’ll use the Beanstack web and mobile app to log each book your child reads (or listens to). For every reading milestone reached, your child will earn a special badge in the app, matched to a corresponding sticker in the Badge Book. It’s a tangible way to celebrate every step of their reading journey!
