Frequently Asked Questions

Residents of Muscogee, Chattahoochee, Marion, and Stewart County who are at least 18 years old, have never had a CVL library card before, and only want to use CVL’s online services may apply for an eCard.

Use your eCard to gain immediate access to:

  • Bestselling eBooks eAudiobooks, and eMagazines from Libby By Overdrive
  • Free streaming music, and movies from Hoopla
  • Music, Movies, TV, eAudiobooks, and digital comic books from Hoopla
  • Live tutoring and homework help, 7 days a week, from Brainfuse

You must convert your eCard to a card with full borrowing privileges to:

  • Check out physical materials
  • Request an interlibrary loan
  • Reserve a computer

If you would like to check out physical materials from Chattahoochee Valley Libraries, simply go to the nearest branch with a photo ID and verification of residency in our four-county service area, and you will be issued a library card with full checkout privileges.

No, your current card can be used for online services. If you already have a Chattahoochee Valley Libraries card, you do not need an eCard. Your current library card number can be used to access online resources and place holds.
