Frequently Asked Questions

During the Catalog Upgrade, all PINs were automatically reset.  

Click Login, then enter your Library card number and PIN. Please use the last 4 digits of the phone number associated with your account to log in for the first time.   

Once you have logged in for the first time, you can customize your username and login. Click My Account and select EZUsername to make updates.


 

To improve the customer experience, CVL has launched a new mobile app. An updated version of the app for both Apple and Android users is now available.

Customers should run app updates on their devices.

1. Go to the Google Play Store

2. Search "Chatt Valley Libraries" 

3. Select the CVL App

4. Run Update 

1. Go to Settings

2. App Store

3. In the Automatic Downloads section, enable App Updates 

 

OR 

1. Open the App Store

2. Tap Your Profile Icon In The Top Right

3. When In The "Account" screen pull the page down to refresh the page and the new app update should appear.

Important Service Updates

In order to better serve you, the Chattahoochee Valley Libraries is upgrading the online catalog and mobile app. Here are a few important service updates to keep in mind over the coming weeks. We appreciate your patience as we work to improve your library experience. 
 

September 18, 2023 - The addition of new physical materials will be delayed until October 24. During this time, you can continue to place holds and check out materials already in circulation. We will resume fulfilling holds for new materials on October 24. New digital materials in Libby and hoopla will continue to be available 24/7 through the Library website and the mobile app.   

October 23, 2023 (midnight) - All branch locations including the 24-Hour Libraries will be closed for catalog migration and staff training. Library services will temporarily be unavailable during this time. 

October 24, 2023 - Branch locations and 24-Hour Libraries will reopen and resume all services including borrowing of physical and digital materials.

We will continue to participate in Interlibrary Loan, both borrowing and lending, during the catalog upgrade process.
