*You will receive an email confirmation once your application has been received. Please be sure to include an email address that you check frequently, for email will be the first form of contact. Completing this application however, does not guarantee placement or acceptance into the volunteer program.

Step 2

Adult volunteers must submit the Background Release form in order for your application to be considered complete.
Teen volunteers, the Parent Release form only has to be completed if you are invited to attend orientation.

Step 3

Attend orientation, training and or interview to determine placement.

For adult volunteer opportunities, it is the policy of the Chattahoochee Valley Libraries to require all individuals over 18 years of age to complete a Background Release Form. Completed forms may be emailed to pwilliams@cvrls.net, faxed to 706-243-2710 or returned in person on the third floor of the Columbus Public Library.
