SNAP-Ed Nutrition Education With The Columbus Health Department

SNAP-ED CLASS IS ENROLLING NOW!

CLASS MEETS VIRTUALLY – THURSDAYS – STARTING MAY 6TH – 11:00 am – 12:00 pm 

What is the SNAP-Ed Nutrition Education Class?

Do you want to learn simple, low-cost ways to eat well? Are you interested in being more physically active in your daily or weekly routine?

If so, join the Columbus Health Department for SNAP-Education, a FREE 8-week virtual nutrition education class. As a participant in these weekly online classes, you will learn new information and skills to improve your health.

Sessions will include information on nutrition, physical activity, healthy cooking, and planning meals on a budget.

Each of the 8 lessons also comes with the FREE reinforcement items pictured here.

Items Include:

  • Cutting Mat
  • Collapsible Water Bottle
  • Grocery List Pad
  • Produce Brush
  • Dry Measuring Cup Set
  • Refrigerator Thermometer
  • Refrigerator Magnet
  • Physical Activity DVD
