COLUMBUS ARTISTS’ GUILD MEMBERS’ EXHIBITION AT THE COLUMBUS PUBLIC LIBRARY OCTOBER 5th – NOVEMBER 1st
The Columbus Artists’ Guild, an organization supporting and encouraging the visual arts in the Chattahoochee Valley since 1950, is pleased to announce their annual Members’ Exhibition for 2019.
The 2019 Exhibition is now on display at the Columbus Public Library, 3000 Macon Road, in the Reading Room located on the second floor. In addition, a special display of art created by area youth can be viewed in the Library’s Aflac Children’s Department.
The public is invited to view the exhibition through November 1 during normal library hours:
For the annual Exhibition members of the Guild submit one or two pieces of their original artwork created during the past year. Art is submitted in one of several categories such as oil, acrylic, watercolor, photography, or mixed arts/various media. A panel of judges that included art professionals and community leaders chose winners in each category as well as recipients of special prizes.
Many of the pieces are available for purchase. Volunteers from the Columbus Artists Guild are at the exhibit and can help facilitate arrangements between artists and interested buyers.
