The Chattahoochee Valley Libraries has put together a series of free classes and activities designed to help you, the consumer, effectively manage your personal finances.  Classes are held at various branch locations and cover topics ranging from Identity theft, budgeting and couponing.

This workshop focuses on how to be savvy when buying either your first home or your eighth home. There's great information for everyone! Topics covered: the pros and cons of buying versus renting, your 'home buying budget,' what credit scores do for you, different types of loans, realtors, tips on 'house hunting,' making an offer and much more must have information.  It's a fun, interactive workshop that you will leave knowing your market and a true understanding of the home buying experience.
