AARP Georgia Hosts Free Fraud Seminars and Free Document Shredding

AARP Real Possibilties in Georgia

AARP Georgia wants you to learn about the most common scams and tactics that con artists and criminals are using to get your money.

Join us for free workshops (registration required – see below) that will cover these topics and more. The workshops will be held on Saturday June 28 at the Columbus Public Library, 3000 Macon Road at the following times:

  • 10:45am to 12noon
  • 2:00pm to 3:15pm

FREE DOCUMENT SHREDDING

River Mill Data Management will be providing free document shredding for the public from 11:00am to 3:00pm in the parking lot of the Columbus Public Library, 3000 Macon Road. Please bring all of your old financial documents and statements!

CANNED GOODS COLLECTION

We will also be collecting canned goods for the Feeding the Valley Food Bank. Collection bins will be in the parking lot near the shredding truck. No glass items, please.
