Three Wishes for Jamie opened in March of 1952 at the Mark Hellinger Theatre, New York City, with stops in New Haven, Connecticut and Boston, Massachussets and finally closed curtains at the Plymouth Theatre, New York City in June of 1952. Base on the novel Three Wishes for Jamie McRuin, By Charles O'Neal, Three Wishes was set in a cottage in Ireland and a horse trader's camp in the state of Georgia. This original Broadway musical comedy totaled 92 performances.
